new presentation
with 3 weeks until the next presentation ( in fact i think less now) the new topic is a practitioner of our choice. unfortunatly i am unavaliable from tomorrow until the middle of next week, i would reccomend a meeting for next week, thursday maybe. does anyone have any ideas on who we could base the presentation on?

thursdays good for a meeting, lunch time in the library?, I'v only really thought of doing something to do with travel such as a car designer? only because travel has had huge influence on the modern world. But of corse I'm open to any other suggestions.
ReplyDeleteWhen Chris was talking to us on Tuesday he said it could only be a visual artist so painters, architects etc. I dont think there'll be much written about car design and I couldn't name an influencial car designer off the top of my head
ReplyDeletePerhaps try an artists like Boccioni - Italian Futurist - whose paintings and sculptures reflected the speed of modernity..then you could go forwards and back in time and take it into tangents around travel, movement, etc.
ReplyDeletethursday in the library sounds fine to me. ill have a look at the artist that chris suggested above and maybe get a few more ideas together
