get the ball rolling

found this video yesterday. its pretty self explanatory after about 5 seconds but thought it would be a good transition from robs slides into mine. this guy always wanted to voice a disney character but only got recognition after he posted this video. i thought i could write about how with the rise of the internet people are being found through sites like youtube. in the future as internet becomes more sophisticated i can see this kind of thing being used to interview people. the guy in the video was hugely inspired by walt disney but only with the power of the internet has a become global. id like to do a slide on this kind of thing even if a clip cant be used it would still be nice to mention. what do you all think?

Hey guys, because theres no lecture today I don't really have any reason to come in today so I'm going to get some presentation stuff done today and blog it tonight/ tomorrow hope thats ok. Ill see you both Monday.

the next meeting

thursday this week a meeting after the lecture. to see what we have got unless everyone blogs things regularly and it all seems ok.

monday, definate meeting to put slides together and do a rough run-through.

wednesday possible meeting depending on how monday goes. if there is anything we missed they will need to be added before thursday.

artist for next presentation

ollie rob and i discussed some artists to research, we played with the typical famous ones such as da vinci and michealangelo but in the end decided upon Walt Disney. this is also helpful to ollie in his project on animators.

things to research:
maximum 5 slides each, with notes all slides with pictures, roughly 2 videos showing old and present disney.

early influences, what started disney. why did he start the company. what was he doing before and what did he study.-ollie will be taking this part.

present day. what happened after walt disneys death. how did it affect the company. who carried on the legacy- rob will be taking this part.

future. how has disney shaped the future. whats next for the company. will disney still be as influential to the younger generation as it once was.- i will be taking this section

Meeting monday?

Hey guys... we seriously need to get a presentation together, i'm not to keen on Boccioni - Italian Futurist...so we need some ideas? any got any?

new presentation

with 3 weeks until the next presentation ( in fact i think less now) the new topic is a practitioner of our choice. unfortunatly i am unavaliable from tomorrow until the middle of next week, i would reccomend a meeting for next week, thursday maybe. does anyone have any ideas on who we could base the presentation on?
